Selena Gomez, an actress and a singer with a huge following across the world. One of the shows she's participated in that has had the greatest success was the Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place. Selena Marie Gomez is her full name. Selena Gomez, born Grand Prairie in Texas on July 22 in 1992. Amanda Cornett is her mother and Ricardo Gomez is her father. She was just 16 at the time Selena arrived. Selena got her first stage show job at the age of nine in the role of Gianna on Barney and her Friends. The role was to be one of the kids who played with the world's best-known reptile, the purple anthropomorphic dinosaur. Selena was a part of some episodes of season 7 and 8.
