Selena Gomez - an international actor and singer - has become known as a household name. The Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place is one of her most successful productions. Selena Marie Gomez has a full name. The full title is Selena Marie. Amanda Cornett is her mother and Ricardo Gomez is her father. Her mother was only sixteen at the time Selena arrived. When she was 9 she got her first work in the show industry by being offered the part of Gianna as Gianna in Barney and her Friends. So she was one of many children to have played alongside Barney, the well-known human-like pink dinosaur. Selena performed for many seasons in seasons 7 and 8, between 2001 to 2003. Selena Gomez was not the only performer to be featured in Barney And His Friends from 2001 to the year 2003. Demi Lorvato joined the team as well. Selena Gomez had a few auditions for different films and shows after the end of the show Barney and his Friends. She was not successful. Selena got the role as Julie as Julie in Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire and also appeared on Mini Spies 3 in 2003. Also, she was offered the role in the role of Emily Grace Garcia in the 2005 Brain Zapped program for which she composed a tune.
