Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. In the 1950s, she launched her acting career on stage as part of Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. Then she performed in a variety of Broadway productions, before becoming huge in the national theater area with Li'l abner's in 1957. The following year, she recorded her first album of music It's the right time to Tina. Louise began with her Hollywood career in 1958, when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a dramatic film. The film was a huge commercial success and Louise earned an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's teacher. She was able to land the role of her life when CBS signed her to portray Ginger Grant. Louise was able to do a fantastic performance juggling Broadway and Hollywood. She played somber, contrasting characters to her glamorous image that she was seen as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She also appeared in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in recent years she's also earned a name for herself as an accomplished director on numerous well-known TV shows such as Supernatural in addition to The 100. Born in Essex, Ontario on 28, August 1965 the family relocated to Toronto in the age group of three. She spent her childhood there before moving to Toronto for her adolescence. In 1997 after being selected to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has remained there ever since.
